About Me
I’m Mimi, a writer and storyteller based on the UK’s Jurassic Coast. I tune out the noise, creating important stories and beautiful projects that endure our busy, changing world. At 23 years old, I have a first-class degree from London College of Fashion and experience across heritage, the arts, publishing, and communications. Whatever I’m doing, I bring a devotion to do it well.
My writing explores shifting attitudes towards human ecology, spirituality, digital landscapes, and cultural identity in the eyes of my generation. I discuss these issues through conversations with leading young voices, focusing on cultural vessels that touch all of our lives: fashion, music, and the internet.

Working with historical collections in archives and auctions inspires me to create similarly innovative work, an ethos that bleeds into my digital marketing and communication projects. Joining a PR agency at 17 years old cemented my practical skills and organisation, whilst my diverse portfolio of internships, freelance projects, and solo travels tapped my creativity.
I balance my digital career with embodied involvement in Dorset’s arts scene, hosting studio spaces for Dorset Arts Week, modelling for romantic painters, and assisting with residential arts courses.

Together with my sister, digital marketing consultant Betsy Francis, I bring my contemporary expertise to my mother’s award-winning business, Mellulah Yoga Retreats. We facilitate global wellness retreats and create deeply healing spaces for our local community. This family trinity has made me collaborative, soul-led, disciplined, and creatively instinctual.
